Thanks for the congratulations. We couldn't be happier. Our story is a simple one. After dating for 6 years and meeting many men on both ldssingles and the mingle, I finally decided that a widower with a long history of marital happiness with one partner would probably be a better choice for me than a divorcee with baggage and hangups, not to mention financial difficulties. More than mere coincidence

I (Chicagoburbite) joined Christian Mingle in October 2003, met and dated a few men, but there weren't any long term connections. Then in March 2004, TofulloJesus joined CM on a 7 Day Trial per recommendation of a friend. He went into the chat room on one of his last days of the trial and went a little crazy trying to learn how to follow the fast paced chatting. But, it was there that he saw me chatting with my friends, and decided to read my profile. Tofull wrote me a private message and we exchanged several more before we decided to start talking over the phone. We seemed to click, but he was in Texas, and I am in Illinois. We prayed for God's will because the distance was so great. Did we even dare consider a relationship?
We decided to just meet in April 2004. We spent a lot of time in prayer, doing devotions together on-line, and fellowshipped with 2 other Minglers. We both felt God's leading, and in May he proposed.
On September 18, 2004 we were married in Illinois and now live here with my two children from a previous marriage. We praise God for bringing both of us to CM under very different circumstances, and for having us both in the chatroom at the same time that day in March! We know it was more than mere coincidence. Praise the Lord!

She is everything

WE met on Christian Mingle in December. From there we started talking over the phone and I have just returned from meeting her. We have already planned our next meeting. Getting to know her has been the best experience I have ever had. I feel that getting to know her heart first was the key to the sucess we have had. When we met everything went even better than I could have ever imagined. Even though we live so far apart we both feel that God has been molding us for each other. Greetings to all the singles on this site! I would like to share my story with you in an attempt to encourage you in your pursuit of a spouse.
My husband, who is in the Air Force and is stationed in MO, was using some of his leave time to visit his family in NY. While he was on leave, he got into a motorcycle accident with a deer. I, who was a native of PA for 26 years, was working as a nanny and a server. At the very end of Sept 03', an ad for this site came onto my screen. I was highly skeptical of using a dating site on the computer to find my future husband. Besides that, I had recently come out of a bad relationship and I did not feel I was ready to pursue another one at the time. However, something prompted me to check it out....I am thinking a mixture of God's divine intervention and a good dose of me being extremely curious by nature. :) I started looking around on it and found I liked the things it offered. At the end of my trial time, the option was presented to join. I enjoyed talking to other male Christians on here and I figured I had nothing to lose. Not more than two hours after I joined, my life, unbeknownst to me, was about to change. I sent an email on Oct. 6, 2003, to a man who was serving in the military. I just felt the need to thank him for serving our country. I NEVER in my wildest imagination expected to hear back from him or have things happen as they took place. That same night, he sent me an email back inviting me to chat with him. From that night on, we spent time online talking. We set-up a date to meet in Nov. 03', but but his commander called him and told him he needed to get back to MO. It finally worked out for us to meet face to face in Jan/Feb of 04'. Though it was crazy and I do not know how we knew (YOU JUST DO!), we were sure from almost the beginning that God has us "meet" each other on this site for the sole purpose of getting married. To make an incredibly long story short, I visited my husband in MO in April of 04', at which time he proposed to me on a B2!!! We got married on Oct. 23, 04', and I moved to MO the week after we were married. Our wedding was one of the most special times for us and we are both blessed to have found each other on this site. (THANK YOU CHRISTIAN MINGLE!) I know this is lengthy, but I just want to end with (hopefully) an encouragement to those of you reading this. Wait on God...His timing is so much more perfect than our timing. Trust God and be open...God can use ANYWAY and ANYTHING HE sees fit to be the way to bring you and your spouse together. I got an email from you all last year when i closed my account. So i decided to finally email you back because i met my wonderful husband on your web site. I loved him even before I met him

I'm back on the site after months because I wanted to print my profile for "our" scrapbook. Sept. of 2003, I first saw Chris's profile on LDSMingle.com. We talked on the phone soon after and we were just drawn to each other. I can honestly say that I loved him even before I met him. Lots of open talks and lots of prayer led us to meet on November 21, 2003. After a couple more airplane trips on both of our parts, I decided to move from PA, to AZ to marry Chris. We were married May 21, 2004...exactly 6 months after we met in person. It was a wild ride for sure...but now that we have been married 8 month....we couldn't be happier! I was always afraid of marriage...well..not so much marriage....but what happens when people fall into a bad married...stuck together for life..fighting and not getting along. Trust me I know...my parents were like that. But now I see, that with Chris, anything is possible. He is truly my bestfriend. I couldn't imagine being happier with anyone else. And I have to say, that I believe Heavenly Father put us together, not because of pre-destination or anything like that.....but I believe that we are meant to be together because of who we both are and the choices we have made. Thank you at LDS Mingle. Coming out of 5 years in Scientology was hard. I was investigating many Churches and faiths and LDS was one of them. After going to the homes pages for LDS, I found a middle of the road Church I felt comfortable with. I contacted the local ward and at about the same time met another on LDS Mingles with just an 86% match.


She gave me the ultimate encouragement about finding out the truth about Mormon, and it all came into prohibition this past weekend. She flew about 800 miles from the blizzard in the N.E. to attend my Baptism. It meant that much to her.


Without this good womans being there when I had questions, I might still be out there looking for the right faith. The Elders were most informative during my investigations and I sense that almost everyone in our Church want's to help when called on.

we couldn't be apart

When there is a Will, there is a Way

I would like to share our story... sugarcane came from Philippines and I came from Idaho... so it's like halfway around the globe... I meet sugarcane here in this website last may 2003 and it seems the door of the heaven open for the both of us... It is a really great feeling... and from that time we dont stop communicating anymore... then I came up a plan to see her in person...so last april 2004 I went to the philippines... yeah it is the longest flight I take in my entire life... and then we meet she is so sweet... we know more about each other... I meet her family... and it is wonderful expercience... then I came back last December until january 2005... yeah it takes a lot for me... but "It is worth it"... She will be moving here in Idaho... and we will get married in salt lake temple... as soon as she get here in the states... we are all hoping that the paper works will go smoothly and she will be joining me and my family either Oct. or December.... All I can say is that no matter how far it is... if you want it and work for it and have desire for it... and follow the prompting of the spirit God will always have His way... because "When there is a Will, there is a Way".... I am so happy

We haven't quite set a date yet - she was married in the temple before and is now divorced so we're in the process of getting her a temple divorce and depending on how long that will take we will either wait to get sealed this year, or just go ahead with a normal wedding by a bishop only to be sealed later. I am so happy with her and the fact that your site enhanced my chances of meeting her. We have a incredible amount of things in common and are just so in love with one another. Right now I don't have any pictures yet, however, she is coming out in 3 weeks to visit (I live in MA, she in ID) so we'll have ample amounts of them after that and I will ensure one makes it's way to you.

I love being married

In Febuary of 2004 I started talking with skier05 we talked everyday and got to know each other in April we met in person for the first time. We hit it off and so I was going to Idaho almost every weekend. In July I moved to Idaho and in September I proposed and on November 20, 2004 we were married in the Idaho Falls Temple. Never would have met this man

You know every site has its good and bad and you have to weight it all out. Yours was the best. I would have never met this man since I live in California and he lives in Utah. I knew he was something very special

I wanted to share the most incredible success story with you.


I met him on Christian Mingle in September 2003. After about 2 days of chatting online and on the phone, I knew he was something very special.


I lived in Colorado and he lived in Washington. After about 2 weeks we met for the first time and we knew God had something special planned for us.

I responded and we decided to chat even though the distance between us was 750 miles with the intent of being "just friends who would chat in the evenings when both of us missed the companionship of your deceased mates.

Since we both had made previous plans (I flying to Phoenix to help my daughter move to Moulton and out of town company for Thanksgiving in Moulton - He having his family at his home for thanksgiving in Vero Beach) --- I will fly to Vero Beach 11/30, we go on hour honeymoon cruise 12/10-16, fly to Mpls, MNfor Christmas with his two sons and their families 12/17-27 (with a visit with my daughter in Iron Mountain, MI)and back to Vero Beach for a few days befoe driving back to Moulton 12/30 to sell most of my household possessions and begin our life together in Vero Beach around the middle of January.
I had been widowed for about a year and a half and had prayed for God to find me a Christian mate. ET108 and I both feel that our union is God ordained and via ChristianMingle we have found that we are about a 98% match and are almost identical color matches. How did this happen so quickly? I put myself on www.Christianmingle.com Sept. 22 as kind of fluke thing just trying it out for the 7 day free trial. He responded the next day. I had several but he was the only one from Maine...so I checked him out. I literally dropped my jaw, seeing his profile alone was answer to prayer that there was actually a man with many of the qualities I had been praying for. We talked and e-mailed for the next 8 days and met at Starbucks on Sept. 29th. He and I have spent the month of October getting to know each other and falling in love with each other more and more every day. Nov. 7th he proposed and of course I said "YES!!!" I have a great peace that we are walking in God's will for our lives. I have had two Christians I work with encourage me with testimony of after 6-week courtship they were engaged and happily honeymooning for 22 years and 30 years. When God makes the love connection and we pray and stay daily in His word lifting up all of our trials and triumphs....He will bring us through victoriously. I am trusting God with every fiber of my being that He will help Tim and I persevere through the statistics and keep us committed to growing and changing together in love until death do us part! Well , now its time for the rest of the story,...Success that is...I was on the site a while back and "Brokenhearted 12 " showed up and said lets chat..The rest is now HIS story...for me was as Song of Solomen said so eloquently....4:9 "You have Stolen my Heart,my sister my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes,....." As soon as I saw her eyes my Heart Leaped within me and she had me...I KNEW in my Knower she was for me...She knew it as well.
